Past Event – Chinese New Year Celebrations 2026

Come join us for our activities! There is something for everybody: an onsite/livestream CNY Eve Puja led by the Buddhist Library (BL) Sangha, 新年共修 (远青法师带领), House Blessings from Day 2 to Day 15, a Children’s Lunar New Year Celebration, light offerings, and more. Hope to see you at the library.

3.00pm	Special Chinese New Year Eve Puja & Chanting 农历新年诵经法会 (英文和巴利文) Onsite as well as livestream on our Facebook
4.15pm	Library closes at 4.30pm on this day.
17 Feb, Tue (1st Day of CNY 年初一) (Update: You can make light offerings from Day 1 until Day 15; lights will be offered as part of our 108-Candle Tree. New Year House Blessing Service New Year House Blessing Service lasts from 2nd Day of CNY (18 Feb) to 15th day (3 Mar). Please contact counter staff for an appointment. 新年住家祝福活动法师将从年初二起 (二月十八日）至年十五（三月三日) 进行住家祝福活动。有意预约法师到府上祝福者，请向我们柜台工作人员询问。

10.00am – 1pm	Puja in Pali & English, followed by Lunch with Lohei. All BL and Funfair 2025 Volunteers are cordially invited to join us! 巴利文与英文诵经法会和农历新年聚餐。诚邀所有的义工以及2025《义卖会》摊主和助手参加我们的聚餐!
Children’s Lunar New Year Celebration
2.00pm – ~4.00pm	All parents and children are welcome; come dressed in your CNY clothing and have a good time! The celebrations will be facilitated by Ven Faxun and BL Sunday School Teachers. The programme details will be updated soon.
