About this Programme

Prof. Pu Cheng Zhong
Prof. Pu Cheng Zhong is a scholar of Chinese Buddhism based at Shanghai University. His research focuses on the intellectual and cultural history of Buddhism in China, including topics such as monastic discipline, ethics, and vegetarian traditions.
Dr. Hun Lye
Dr Hun Lye is a scholar-practitioner of Buddhism who has taught in academic institutions in the United States. He brings together traditional teachings and contemporary perspectives, with a strong focus on lived practice and Dharma application.
Prof. Xue Yu
Prof. Xue Yu is a Research Fellow at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His work spans Mahayana and Chinese Buddhism, with interests in humanistic Buddhism, ethics, and the relationship between Buddhist thought and contemporary issues such as ecology and well-being.

- Dress Code. Please dress appropriately/modestly as a form of religious respect for the Library, which is a Buddhist centre. In particular, visitors are kindly requested not to wear short pants or skirts which end above the knees, and not to wear sleeveless clothing
