About this program
Meditation fosters a wider awareness, or mindfulness, that can provoke profound realization. Continuous practice can help cut through unhelpful misconceptions and encourage a more open, compassionate relationship with one’s self and others. For this reason, meditation practice is considered to have long-lasting benefits.
Our resident monk Bhante Paññā will be leading a new term of the Tuesday Guided Meditation sessions from 19 Nov onwards.
Each session will include chanting, explanation of a topic selected for that session and practice as a group.
Note: for this upcoming term, participants are required to have familiarity with Buddhism. This is because Bhante will be doing some Dhamma sharing as part of the sessions, and it will not be possible for persons without any background knowledge to follow along.
Who is this program for?
- Attendees of previous terms of the Tuesday meditation class
- Newcomers to this programme i.e. never attended this programme before
- Participants are required to have familiarity with Buddhism. This is because Bhante will be doing some Dhamma sharing as part of the sessions, and it will not be possible for persons without any background knowledge to follow along.
