The Buddhist Library organizes one-day retreats on occasions such as Labour Day, offering participants a chance to spend time meaningfully and to cultivate themselves.

About the facilitators
The retreat will be led and facilitated by the Buddhist Library’s resident monastic community (sangha), Venerable Viharagala Paññāloka, as well as invited sangha, Ven Dr. Hingulwala Punnaji Thero and Venerable G. Suseela.

Venerable Viharagala Paññāloka (“Bhante Paññā”), resident monk at Buddhist Library

Venerable G. Suseela

Bhante G. Suseela was ordained in Sri Lanka as a Buddhist Monk. He graduated from the Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Buddhist Culture and obtained a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (E.C.E.) from Widad University in Malaysia. Bhante is currently pursuing his Master of Arts (M.A.) in Buddhist Philosophy at the University of Kelaniya in Sri Lanka. At present, he serves as the Resident Monk at Bodhirāja Buddhist Society in Singapore.

Ven Dr. Hingulwala Punnaji Thero

Bhante Punnaji is from Sri Lanka and serves as a Religious Advisor & Residence Monk at Samadhi Buddhist Society in Singapore.
