The Master of Arts in Buddhist Studies (one year programme) will once again be offered in 2024, and is slated to begin in Mar 2024.
Key elements of the programme will include teaching by our Buddhist Library resident monks, modules such as a 5000-word dissertation, the study of Pali and more. To get a sense of what the course involves, you can visit this page to see what the 2018 run was like.

Conduct of the course
Please be prepared to come onsite for lessons and/or attend lessons via Skype meetings. This is the modality we have been employing recently.
Pre-requisites for entering the course
- Good first degree in Buddhist Studies, or
- Postgraduate Diploma in Buddhist Studies, or
- A bachelor’s degree in any field and a diploma in Buddhist Studies
