About Bro Tan Chau Yee

Bro Chau Yee is a Buddhist practitioner active in Dhamma work and is one of the facilitators in the Meditation & Dhamma Classes conducted in the Buddhist Library. He conducted weekly Basic Dhamma & Meditation Class (in Mandarin) in Buddhist Fellowship / Dhamma Wisdom Centre for five years from 2015 to 2020, and has given Dhamma talks in English in Uttamayanmuni Buddhist Temple, Dot Connections Growth Centre and other places, as well as through FaceTime to interested parties in California. He has also served as an interpreter for Venerable Kai Zhao’s Dhamma talks and meditation retreats held in Singapore and other events. He has assisted in the Chinese translation of Ajahn Jayasāro’s biography of Ajahn Chah, “Stillness Flowing”; Ajahn Chandako’s “What is Buddhism?”; Ajahn Chandako’s “A Honed and Heavy Ax – Samatha and Vipassana in Harmony”; Ajahn Viradhammo’s “Contemplative’s Craft” and other Dhamma publications, as well as the English translation of Venerable Kai Zhao’s “Confessions of Death Row Inmates”.
