Come celebrate Vesak Day! On this day, we commemorate the birth, enlightenment and the passing away of Gautama Buddha.
Programme
(New) Pre-Vesak Children’s Celebration on Sun 19 May, 2.00pm – 3.30pm
Have you or your children ever been intrigued about Vesak Day?
Join us for this engaging activity facilitated by Ven Faxun and the BL Sunday School Teachers! All parents and children are welcome. All will have a chance to bathe Prince Siddhartha (浴佛), and we plan to have activities and games meaningful for all.
No registration necessary, just turn up.

An animated film on the life of the historical Gotama Buddha, also known as Shakyamuni Buddha. The Buddhist Library first produced this popular film in 1995, and it has just been remastered. |

Goodie Bags for Elderly from Shan You Wellness Centre
We will be giving ang baos and goodie bags to elderly from Shan You Wellness Centre joining us for our Vesak celebrations. We will also be providing two-way transportation for them. As such, we seek your support to donate any amount to defray these costs.
(New) *Distribution of Blessed Water
Exercise some care for our environment! We will have a dispenser to distribute blessed water instead of distributing it in plastic bottles. Bring your own tumbler to collect the water or buy a special BL tumbler onsite.
Call for Donations
We are also seeking donations to cover the costs of tentage, water and other Vesak expenses. Any amount is welcome!
