When was the last time you read a book?

I mean a real book. One that does not strain your eyes with glaring lights, nor does it rings or prompts you to return a message or call.

It simply stays in the bookshelf waiting for you to reveal itself.

Book reading is meant to be a form of relaxation where you can shut yourself from the clutter of your daily life. Join the BL Book Club and pick up a book now!

Once a month, anyone is welcome to join a book champion to discuss a chapter of an interesting Buddhist book. You will be sent just a short chapter of the featured book a week before the session. You could be a Book Champion as well.

The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Buddhism (3rd Edition) Book Review by Prof Chandima

Our very first Book Champion is Professor Chandima who chose The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Buddhism for discussion because he felt that the author Gary Gach wrote the book with much conviction to share the doctrines in a very direct and cozy manner. Professor likened his reading of the book to friends sharing spiritual experiences around a campfire.
